1/6 plate daguerreotype of a little girl with Strabismus standing next to a table in a tortoise shell papier-mâché case. Strabismus is an eye imperfection similar to being cross-eyed. The case is completely intact including hasp. It is rare to find a complete papier-mâché case in such fine condition. A interesting medical anomaly. Resealed with original seals behind image.
